One of my top two Mexican restaurants. Very nice staff, great food and margaritas. Also like the fact there is a patio are to sit and eat outside on nice days.

My husband and I have been to many Mexican restaurants in the northern Louisiana area and this one so far is the best. The rice could be done better instead of it being dry. Other than that , the staff is friendly and the environment is clean. Food is hot when served. I would of gave 5 stars if the rice was better prepared. I recommend this restaurant to others.

Best nexican

Really delicious!!! Meat was tender, tasty and cooked perfectly. Its like somebody cooked it from his heart. Fast service. Servers work nicely together helping each other out. Friendly, even the customers were friendly, relaxed and at home. It was our first time here and we felt at home. We saved the place and we are coming back. Thank you La Fogata.

Pretty good next to truck stop

No complaints about the food, the food was very good, had a slight problem with the putrid odor that slaps you in the face soon as you walk in.

I finally returned after 2 years, hoping their service would have improved. Still the worst service of any restaurant I've ever been to. And honestly the food was just wasn't that good at all. No stars for la fogata.

I am from California and I haven't had a good burrito since I went to New Orleans where they still roll the burritos. The meat is good, overpriced though $15.00 for a Steak burrito that was shaped more like an enchilada

Best Tex-Mex in north La, and very good frozen margarita to boot. They have had some good local talent preforming as well like "Next of Ken" on weekends

Tonight I had the ribeye and onion rings. The steak was cooked perfect. The onion rings were typical frozen onion rings, but not the beer battered kind. The chips were fresh. The queso was delicious. The other's in my party enjoyed there chimichanga, and steak quesadilla.

Great food and service

Great Tex-Mex food. Chips were served with a hot and cold salsa. Chips were flash fried so they were good and warm. Fajitas were delicious the steak was very good quality meat and tasted as if marinated. I will definitely be back.TRUCK PARKING NEXT DOOR OR ON THE SIDE.

The venue location was promising, but the layout of the interior was dreadful, the food dismal and the pricing worst of all. I got a small queso, a small Sprite, a Coke and a Fajita Salad bowl during lunch and it was over $35 dollars. I was not pleased and though it is only a few miles from my home, opt now for the more reliable Mexican Restaurant across town.

It was described to me as the authentic Mexican of the two in Arcadia. It wasn’t exactly authentic, but I had the large chicken fajita burrito that tasted ok. The warm sauce they brought was better than the cold one. It was a larger than usual portion, for $14.

Great options for food. The salsa was top notch. They brought out 2 kinds, normal and a warmed up version. The warm stuff is a great change of pace. Big portions to go with the great flavor that fills you up. Will keep this one on my playlist for a while.

I always like this place. Best nachos, best fajita salads, great margarita's. Service is always fast, courteous and attentive. Good prices for good quality food/ingredients.

Was as good as it used to be.

A week ago went with a party of 12 heading to North Texas from Florida. Obviously from the long drive we were pretty hungry! From the start the chips and salsa say everything about a restaurant, in my opinion. From the 2 salsas that we’re given, we loved the warmer one. Our server was extremely nice, bummed I didn’t catch her name. She did a perfect job of taking drink and food orders! I got a plate called La Fogota special I’m not sure if that’s the correct name but I substituted things and it was brought out just the way I wanted! She kept up with refills and kept asking if we needed anything or if we were okay! of course I tipped double for her amazing service to us. Muchas gracias!!!
